2007 GENERAL EXHIBITION INFORMATION
Eligibility
The competition is open to all photographers in the Michiana area. Each entry must be the original concept and work of the photographer, completed within the last two (2) years and not previously shown in the Heartland Artists Regional Photography Exhibit. No copies or reproductions will be allowed. This includes copies of other artists' work or work done from published photos. ALL PHOTOS MUST BE THE ARTISTS' OWN. Final determination of what constitutes eligible work will rest with the jurors.
Entry Procedure
- The photographs are to be matted, framed and/or otherwise ready for hanging. (No sawtooth hangers.)
- Any photographic process or work dependent primarily on photographic process is acceptable.
- Photo upper size limit is 24" x 36", lower size limit is 5" x 7"
- A non-refundable fee of $10 per photograph is required for entry. Please make checks payable to Heartland Artists, Inc.
- All photographers are responsible for delivery and pick up of their work.
- Accepted work MAY NOT be removed until after 4 p.m., April 28th
- An entry label (or facsimile) must be attached to the upper right hand corner of the back of each entry.
Sales & Reproduction
All sales will be handled by the Heartland Camera Club for the photographer. Heartland will retain a 30% commission on any work sold from the exhibition. Sale price must reflect this commission. Purchased work may not be removed before the exhibition closes. The photographer grants permission to reproduce accepted entries in publications and media for educational and promotional purposes. Entering this competition constitutes agreement with all conditions.
Receiving of Work
Photos must be hand delivered (no slides) to: Heartland Artists Gallery, 321 N. Water Street, Plymouth, IN. (location map) Work will be accepted Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 1, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Photography accepted for jurying does not guarantee acceptance in the final exhibit. Entry blanks may be photocopied or hand copied.
Return of Entries
Works not accepted may be picked up during reception and show hours. (See Exhibit Dates & Hours) Final pick up date is Saturday, April 28 between 4 - 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 between 1 5 p.m.. Please show your Jury Notification card to pick up your work, or make prior arrangements. Heartland Camera Club and Heartland Artists, Inc. cannot be responsible for any work left after the scheduled pick up time! Unclaimed art work becomes the property of Heartland Camera Club after 14 days, and will be auctioned with proceeds going to the Heartland high school art awards program.

Liability
All reasonable precautions will be taken to safeguard entries. However, Heartland Artists, Inc. and Heartland Camera Club cannot assume responsibility for damage or loss of photography submitted. All work is accepted subject to this understanding. Entering this exhibit constitutes agreement.
